Hello! My cat is now heavily pregnant and Im so excited for her to give birth. She started nesting about 10 days ago. Can someone tell how long it’ll be from the pictures?

Cats can start nesting behavior a few weeks before the birth, but she looks like she should be getting close. This article is a helpful guide that explains some things to look for to clue you in as to when she’ll go into labor: How Do I Know When My Cat Will Give Birth?

She was a stray cat that I took in last month. Fortunately, she is very friendly and doesn’t seem interested in leaving the house. She’s spending a lot of time in her nesting area but she’s very grumpy today and keeps hissing at my other female cat.

She had her kittens 2 days ago, 4 females and 2 males. Today I noticed a couple of fleas on some of the babies. I’m trying to pluck them out with some tweezers but its really hard. Also, what is the safest way to treat mom?

This is the only thing I found at my local pet store. It says it’s safe for kittens. Should I use it on the mother?

My goodness, what a gorgeous brood you've got there! Are you keeping any? Have you named them? 2.5 weeks? They look very healthy.

We haven’t named them yet. They’re 3 weeks old today and have started walking. Unfortunately, we only plan on keeping mom and having her fixed in a couple of months.

Mom can be fixed when the kittens are 8-weeks-old.

Can you have babies fixed before going to their new homes? They should
stay with Mom until they are 10-12 weeks at least.
