It sounds like a soft tissue injury. A cortisone shot helps to relieve the pain and inflammation, but kittens heal from soft tissue injuries very quickly regardless. Did you step on her leg?
Thank you, still young enough that healing will be fairly quick. Although surgery might be more of a viable option.She is almost 9 months old if I remember correctly.

Her name is Bean. She was the sweetest out of the bunchYou are a very compassionate person, and very mature. Thank goodness she didn’t need her leg amputated!
