Hi!
If momma is still rejecting the boys, give them a “bath” with this as well so they can all have the same scent. It shouldn’t hurt them.

Thank you!!

By the way, since their two weeks of healing is almost up, can I start keeping them together after or do I have to wait a little longer?

Hi!! They have been with each other for a while now. The boys stopped attacking the girls. They are crazy!! whenever they play.

Anyways, bad news, we had a TV box in our living room and they somehow got into it and chewed on the styro foam, so i'm scared. I removed it instantly when I saw it but i'm not sure if they ate some.

Also, we had a soy sauce bottle on our counter and while I was setting up the hallway for them, I think one of them dropped it and bit the bottle because there was one tooth mark. The soy sauce had a few drips on the floor but I'm not sure if they did consume some. I'm also unsure of who it is. Is soy sauce that toxic to them? I don't think one of them consumed a lot but maybe got a tiny amount on their tooth.
The brand was Datu Puti.

By the way, hopefully you all are safe from the corona virus!! please take care!! <3

Hi!
Just keep an eye on them, if there's any strangeness such as not eating, odd litterbox behaviors or there's a lot of sleeping, you'll want to get ahold of your vet right away.

Hopefully any amount that might have been ingested was so small as to not cause issues :vibes::crossfingers:

Hi! It's been a while and again, I hope everyone is safe!

I just have new questions. The kitten that consumed canola oil before, was able to consume a bit again a few weeks ago, along with quite a lot of bacon grease. I have been concerned ever since. She still eats, quite a lot, drinks her water, and plays normally.
She also has not vomited or anything.
One thing that changed though is that, she is always calling for me. I mean, she did that before but she is more clingy now. At night, or when we are eating, I would lock them in the livingroom and she will be looking through the glass and meowing softly for me. She also wants to be with me all the time, really close to me. I would give her to my mom but she would run back to me.
It's cute but she sometimes does not stop unless I really ignore her.
One thing she would always do is show her belly when shes on the floor, and purr. Kneading the air softly.
This could just be me overthinking again but I just want to make sure.

Is it just her way of showing affection or could it be something else?

She is just being very loving with you. She has decided that you are her main person and she is very bonded with you. Consider yourself special and privileged! :)

Shes quite calm but she's still hurting. Meowing every now and then.

What should I look for? What do I need to do? How do I make sure that she will be okay?

We called humane society for help, and they will have someone come and check her but thats all. We will need to surrender her if we want more help.

Weren't you planning to give up the Kittens anyway and just keep the mother and were just waiting for space to open up for them?

HelloNingNing HelloNingNing , I’m so sorry you’re in this predicament. Have they come out yet? Hopefully she’ll be okay, but if it’s a break, it will be very expensive to fix. I can understand why they would ask you to surrender, so they can use donations and discounts. It’s complicated.

Kitties are notorious for getting under out feet, tripping us, or worse, causing us to unintentionally step on them. Neither of you did anything on purpose. Let us know what’s going on.

Yes we were but since my mom got the job, we decided to keep them. And it was only going to take a year for me to start working as well.

But then the pandemic happened and plans were cancelled. I dont even know if I'm graduating this year. I haven't even applied for college.

They said that they were going to come out sometime today.

Right now the kitten is still under my desk. She calmed down earlier but now she keeps trying to get up. She tried jumping on the chair too. I don't know if i should let her go wherever she wants.

Is she able to put any pressure on that leg? If she seems okay, then yes, let her roam. If she’s limping you might just need to keep her in a small space so it doesn’t get worse.

Maybe you can ask them if you can get her back, if it leads to that. Vet bills can get very expensive even with a sprain, plus you’d have to keep her in a cage to heal. Hopefully it’s not like that.

rosegold rosegold are two members I can think of with experience with cats with broken or sprained paws/legs. Maybe they can give you some idea of what to look for.

She tries to put pressure on it but she meows in pain when she does so.
