Well, the vets estimate was certainly off, and I feel like the boy who cried wolf🐺, so I'm not making any more predictions about when the kittens will be due!
However, small changes, she is spending more time lying on her side, meows at me a little more, and her nipples appear to be larger and it seems she may have started to produce milk. But 🤷. I'm enjoying documenting the journey on here though.

There was almost 3 hours between 1 and 2 for my cat. Sending love to the new babies and mom! ❤
That's seems like such a long time! 20 minutes was super quick, but she had managed to clean the first one up before number 2 came. I can't tell if there are any more by looking or petting so I will just have to wait.

I
It could be hours until the next one. I once had a mother cat deliver two kittens at five in the morning on February 18th and then produce the next one at four in the afternoon on March 1st.
I couldn't figure out how to reply to multiple messages. I probably won't sleep tonight!! The kittens are nursing now, I'll give them a bit if time and then will change the pads/blankets over.
I didn't realise they'd be so vocal and be able to move so much!

Oh wow, beautiful babies. Look, I meant the 28th, not the 18th- sorry. :)

There are 4 kittens. We've named them Blue (3.50pm), Charlie (4.09pm), Delta (5.46pm) and Echo (6.38pm). It's now 8.05pm, and has been an hour and a half since Echo was born, and they are all latched on. Kit is purring and was just eating some soft food that I fed her on a spoon. She now looks like settling in for a sleep.

It's tricky to see the black ones, but from left to right it is Charlie (black), Echo (grey), Delta (black ) then Blue (grey).

Maybe more to come 🤷 I'll weigh them a bit later after and then will swap over bedding for them too. I've gotten the top layer out so it isn't too bad now.

Is anyone able to take a guess at sexes?

These are the clearest pictures I have so far.

Hmm... Hard to tell right now. Right now I think B and E are definitely male, with C and D could be female?
It'll be easier to tell when they're a bit bigger.

Thankyou. I was thinking B is male, and C is female, but I'm less certain of the other two.

Here is a picture of their faces. They've definitely inherited dad's blaze!! (Pic for comparison below).
