Hello, My kitten was spayed on Wednesday, 11/30, and today I noticed a lump had developed underneath the incision. Is this normal it should I be concerned

Hi, Welcome!
I'm not a vet but from what I understand, it's possible that the lump will eventually dissipate on its own although this one looks a little large. Will your vet allow you to send that photo in to them?

Hi, thank you! I'm going to call the vet Monday morning, she has also vomited a couple times and is not eating. I'm really worried about her 😞

oh, baby girl!
Honestly, it seems that things like this always happen on the weekend. See if you can get her to lick some beechnut meat baby food from your finger which might help her to become more interested in food :vibes::crossfingers::hugs:

In my opinion, since it's 4 days since the spaying, I personally don't think it's normal for a natural reaction to the surgery to show up after such a long time.
I'd send the photo to your vet as soon as possible.

I actually tried that and she took a few licks, but that was it. I also tried lickable treats on top of her wet food, she is just not really interested. 😞

Keep trying with the meat baby food, even a little bit is better than nothing.
How does the incision area look?

I gave her more meat baby food and she took a couple more licks 🙏
The incision area still has a lump and is a little swollen, but there is no redness, puss, or blood, and stitches are still in place.
