This is Emerald, who was rescued by a shelter when she had six newborns and weighed only 4.5 pounds. She had serious health problems, and was not well socialized. I adopted her three years ago. Today, she is healthy, weighs almost 13 pounds, and couldn't be sweeter or more snuggly.

This is Emerald (short hair) with Sunshine (long hair), who I adopted three years ago at the same time as Emerald (post above). Sunshine was semi-feral and had serious health problems, but today is healthy, happy, and very sweet. She and Emerald had never met, but are great pals.
