Here's my blue & cream tortie. Her name is Darragh Leanne. I rescued her from the streets of Newark here in NJ. She's also pregnant. Don't know how I'll deal w/more mouths to feed. But I'll manage.

Some of these were taken w/my phone & when I finally located my charger, I took better ones with my camera. She's blind in her left eye. I hope it's not too many pix...:eek:hno:

Amber as a kitten. She was such a tiny thing.
As a teenager taking selfies and doing her amazing caterpillar!
Don't worry, she does have front legs. [emoji]128521[/emoji]
Her look when I say cheesy jokes like that caterpillar one. :)
I hope I didn't post too many pictures.

This is Ember as a kitten. She is Amber's real sister.
When she's working on her tan.
When she's suckling her thumb. (Don't tell her I took that one. ;) )
When she knew the Great Dane loved her more then his pillow.
Ember having a bright idea, fortunately no light bulbs were involved.
Doing a yin yang with her brother Indigo.
Hoping there's just one more tissue.
Waiting for her smelly big brother to finish with his bath.
Oh! She also tames Crocs on the side!
The time I'd had enough and tried to ship her somewhere else.... only to find the box was too small. So I decided to keep her.
When she was spying on me....
and when I caught her.
Pretending to be a statue.
Her phony smile.
Pressing my laundry.
Ember's a lot like American Express, she's everywhere you want to be and some places you don't. :D
(Photo bomb!! )

Tiger Tom the kitten in the middle is the instrument of God that won my heart over for love for cats. He was feral and to survive as a lone kitten ended up here and soon ended up killing a young chicken and was prowling for more. He avoided capture and being shot at about a week or more until I finally got him closed into an old building and then into a cage trap. I wouldn't of believed he was big enough or would of killed the chicken, hadn't I caught him in the act of attacking a full grown hen about twice his size. I decided to tame and rehome him to a town person but he tamed and rehabbed so wonderfully, he became friend of all my chickens and my kitty son. From enemy to beloved, great example of what humans should do. I was a 1 cat person before him, a year later Tootsie the Calico came out of the woods ( about 5 months old) at a remote cemetery I mow. Couldn't reunite her with her prior owner, my elderly mother wanted her, but circumstances she ended up with Tiger and me. Tiger and Tootsie truly seemed to love each other and kept each other occupied. Sadly late fall Tiger was killed on the road and my heart was torn. About 5 months down the road a starving male kitten showed at my Moms in Feb.and I cheerfully adopted him.

I previously figured 1 cat was enough for me, but Tootsie was so special and I missed my boy kitty so I settled for then 3, with my old girl also. Following late fall-winter 3 more male kittens show at my place and my mom's combined. I tamed and house broke, had neutered all, had several more show up all males the following spring. I sent the older tame 1's with animal control as it was to much, but did what I could to tame 1 younger guy and a little old fighter did tame wonderful, was rehomed, then lost, and after the worst of winter I found him with some help and now he is back with me again. Rehoming hasn't went well for me and the county shelter hasn't been any help either, so I guess its meant for me to have most these cats. Expense is a concern but should something happen I couldn't be here to care for them is a bigger concern.

I have to take it 1 day at a time, but for now I enjoy my 7 cat family.
