Yay!!! These are great updates!!! Giving cats meds is...... an experience. All 3 of the babies I have had to do it with have all been different! Find what works

It's a nightmare giving cats meds
She's ate some good this morning, get greedy brother out his foot in her bowl and moved it toward him lol he's a red boy and a huge 8 kilo. He's a human hoover lol
Poppy seems OK. I hid antibiotic in a lick and put it on a spoon to get it in her
She came on the bed last night
I'm. Watching her closely

Come to me during the night purring
I heard that a, bacterial infection can cause issues with the liver
I do hope all it was was a infection
Her congestion seems to have gone too
Her check up is Thursday 2pm

Just got back from the vets
Her jaundice has 95% gone. Her congestion had gone too. Ears eyes cleared up
Gained 600g in 2 weeks
Slight temperature but I think it's due to stress as she's been on the bus long time and was scared
Got another 2 weeks of antibiotics
Re check in 2 weeks
She's thinks possibly was a nasty bacterial infection
She's grooming and OK now back home

Yay! I’m so glad to hear that. I mean I’m not happy that she had an infection but I’m so relieved that she’s getting better and she’s going to be OK. Hugs to all

YAY!!!!!!!!! I was awaiting this update and so glad to hear the good news, improvements!!!! Infections are not fun, but you did good catching it and treating it! Looking forward to more updates

She was rolling over fir a belly rub this morning
They are still not sure what or how she caught this
She's definitely improving
She's an indoor cat so I can't understand how she got so sick
Jaundice almost gone. Little bit left but so much better
Least her wheezy congested noise has cleared up and no more runny eyes or scabby ears
Tells me it was bacterial and not viral or the antibiotics would not have worked
She's gained weight too
Shevery feisty lol
Still no antibiotics hopefully the rest of the yellow will go
I hope her liver improves too
I can't afford a referral vet

Saw a very young vet, looked newly qualified
She said poppy had a slight temperature
Gums nice and pink
According to their scales she s lost 500g. I don't know how she's eating well. Playing acting norm
It's her birthday today and her brother jaffa. 2 today. He's double her size

As no definate diagnosis vet says another week of antibiotics. Monitoring and come back in a month
Sge said just because she looks bettwr doesn't mean she is
I can't afford a referral vet x

I am sorry that Poppy needs further treatment. I am hoping for the best for you and Poppy
