My cat is pregnant...
I went to the vet when she was 3 weeks in pregnancy.. and he said that all the 4 kittens ( he said that the ultrasound don't show how many kittens exactly but he predict a number ) were well... and she would give birth after a month
And that month passed. she gave birth to 2 stillborn and her stomach is still contracting but there is a movement of a kitten still alive .. I don't know what to do... I'm afraid that the others are dead too.
Can someone help me, please?
p.s It is her first pregnancy.

Your best bet is to see the vet because they can evaluate all factors. If there is a livekitten the vet may recommend a cesarean to try to save it.

That said, if she isn't in distress (well beyond normal labor) you could probably wait and see how it goes. Labor can take several hours. As sad as it is, kittens can have genetic problems or defects that cause stillbirth. There can also be multiple fathers with slightly different gestation periods which can lead to premature kittens too. If Mom seems to be in any distress, continued bleeding, difficulty breathing, extreme lethargy, etc please see a vet immediately.

How are things going now?

If mama kitty is not in distress, your best bet is to wait it out and let Mother Nature take her course. No need to rush to the vet.

You should get your cat spayed so this does not happen again.

She looks fine now but from time to time she would start panting. In the meanwhile, the other kittens still not born yet.

Pictures for the first two...

Poor babies! They almost look premature... the lack of fur on the one. How is momma doing?

I am so sorry. The one in particular looks very premature. Do you think she is done now?

I’m sorry to hear it. I think she still needs to see a vet for possible infection.

Do you plan to spay her?

Yes the yellow discharge is concerning. I would get her to the vet for antibiotics, it definitely sounds like an infection. How is she doing now?

I'd agree that the kittens, especially the first, look like they may have been premature or have something that caused their stillbirth. I doubt you could have saved any of them. Please do get your Cat to the vet, the discharge is concerning.

Unfortunately, infection may have caused the premature and stillborn births.

I agree that she needs to see a vet. Are you able to get her in?
