Please help kittens nose peeling!

I just saw my kitten and her nose looks very strange. The top part looks like its completely coming off! Any tips or advice would be great. I will contact my vet tomorrow morning. I just want to know if anyone knows what it is anyway! Thanks guys!!!

It could be sunburn, nasal dermatoses such as yeast or bacteria; honestly there are tons of possibilities. 

Be sure to let us know what your vet says.

I'm curious.

My vet ended up saying that she probably rubbed it to hard on the carpet.

Wow, that's not one I anticipated!

What did the vet say to do?  Did he/she prescribe any kind of ointment?

Poor cat.  But I'm glad you got her to the vet.

No he said it was healing fine on her own. She actually had a seroma on her spay incision that became herniated. But she seems to be healing really well there too! My poor girl!
