Isn't fortiflora a powder? Can't you mist spray his kibble so the powder will stick and shake some onto it.

I know there are a bunch of probiotic fans out there, but I don't think you need to constantly take it. If the stools are OK, probiotics probably are no longer necessary.

I have my own occasion IBD and I just eat yogurt for a few days until things are back to normal, then that's it.

If you can't get Fortiflora powder into the little one, there are probiotics in gel or paste form, like Benebac, that he might lick up or that you can put directly in his mouth. Your vet should be able to recommend some.
