So Puddles has taken to rolling on the floor, pulling my hand to her mouth, and firmly nipping me. I presume this is play-biting? I don't want to encourage it, but I'm happy to see it. Especially with her rolling and looking quite happy!

It sounds like play biting to me. If you don’t want her to do it use only wand toys when you play with her and don’t let her play with your hands. That will probably get her to stop doing it, although there are no guarantees 😹

give her a stuffed doggy chew toy to beat up instead you dont want her to learn/see your hand as a toy etc. its quite painful to get hooked by dew claws :lol:kitty claws are designed to keep whatever they hooked into from getting away

When she firmly nips you, make a high pitch "eep!" Noise to let her know it "hurts". She's likely just learning.

If she begins using just her front teeth to nibble in soft, quick nips, That's a type of affection grooming.
It's called cobbing in dogs, and cats do it mostly on themselves when grooming but sometimes on other cats or other loved ones.

Magnus cobbs us and sometimes rubs his face on us in a way that makes it more like he's rubbing his fang lol

Looks like this:
