That guest book is adorable, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that dress on you! It was pretty in the picture you first posted, on you, it is STUNNING! IF I were ever to marry again, it would be a courthouse wedding, and that dress would be worthy of a bride. Jes' sayin'...

Okay, I ordered my programs and gave my final count to the reception venue and also replied to the baker with our updated (smaller) numbers, which hopefully will lead to a reduction in what I have to pay.

Tomorrow I'll make my waxing appointment and start my seating chart.

I've been using these generic brand white strips on my teeth. I'm not sure I'm seeing a visibly whiter smile, but I guess I'll use them all up and hope for the best.

Breathe.

Guys I just ordered these cat escort cards. I hope that's not overboard. I have to write the names and tables in myself in myself, but that gives me more time to figure out who's sitting at what table.

I also ordered our succulent favors. I hope it's not too early and we can keep them alive until the wedding.

Got in touch with hair and left a message for make-up and need to finish paying for our cake this week.

My bank account is crying.

Very cute cards. I really like them.

I wish I could be there to see the wedding. It sounds so fabulous! I really mean it. It sounds amazing.

I have not commented on things, but have been following this thread, loving every decision you have made.

You are going to be a beautiful bride. Do not worry about how you look~~~ You look gorgeous.
A beautiful bride.

I love the way you are incorporating the kitties in you plans. That is so unique! I love it.. and the fact that your fiancé is agreeing to all of it.

You have done so much work. It is all coming together.

I would not worry about not having as many guests as your sister's wedding. Please do not compare yourself with her. You are both different people; with different goals, different likes, dislikes; different priorities.. There is only one of you; a unique, strong, caring, kind, individual-- whom we love. You shine! and your shine is evident with all that you do.

Happy Wedding.. may you find some time to de-stress, relax and enjoy the moments..

love,

Dress fitting day!

It's hard to believe this is the same dress that was four sizes too big. The sleeves look okay, too. I was worried.

So, necklace or no? I have a delicate bracelet as my something borrowed from my MIL, and my great-grandma's wedding band I'm going to wear on my index finger as my something old, aside from my regular ring. I've decided to forgo earrings as I haven't worn them in over ten years, though the holes are still there, and I don't want to deal with them catching in my hair. And then I have the hair vine, which will be under the veil at the ceremony and shine for the reception. So I'm not sure if adding a necklace would be just enough, or too much.

Sweetie, your smile will be brilliant, that's all that matters!

Nope. Given the cake topper, I think that they are the purrfect touch!

Beautiful! You look lovely.

I think a small necklace would be nice, something delicate that would catch the light would work well.
Your dress is gorgeous! All that fretting for naught! And I think, too, something delicate and sparkly would be nice. Understated. Let the dress carry the day.

Hi! I've been loving following your thread, although this is the first time I've posted. Everything is really coming together and you look beautiful!!!
I also had a few cat themed things at my wedding, but one in particular that I really liked was about what people had to do to get us to kiss. I'm not sure if you thought about this at all but I wanted to share.
Many places don't want guests to clink glasses with their cutlery to get the couple to kiss as it can lead to broken glass. So what I did was have a decorated jar placed at my head table, and those who wanted to see us kiss had to come up and make a minimum of a $5 donation that would be going to our local cat rescue group. We raised almost $100 with a wedding that had less than 100 guests. I think that's pretty good.

That sounds like a really neat idea! I do feel awkward asking for more money, though, even going to a charity, and not sure how many of our guests would even have cash on them.

Maybe I'll make a nice donation to Lelia's tnr after the wedding nevertheless.

Well...there was a method to my madness. I'm not into being the center of attention and PDA kinda makes me uncomfortable when you've got 100 pairs of eyes staring at you. And this might seem selfish...but I wanted to enjoy my meal!!! So I thought this was a way to keep the kissing to a minimum and still do good.
You could ask you guests to sing a song with the word cat in it or tell a funny cat story instead! But again, it was just a way for me to keep that tradition to a minimum. I've been to a few weddings where the guests were asked to sing a song about love (not the whole song, a few lines) if they wanted to have the couple kiss.

No, that makes sense. That's a good method, and I appreciate all the ideas!

There's a tradition on my dad's side of the family to do a "bride dance", where basically everyone pays a dollar to dance with the bride. All my cousins on that side did it and I played along, but my mom refused to do it when she married into the family, as will I because it just seems cash grabby. But if I were forced into it, money would go to charity.

I forgot to include fiancé and me in the final meal count for our venue. I emailed her, but it'll just be like me to not have dinner at my own wedding.

I'm such an idiot.

Oh, dear. It's alright. You're probably feeling tons of emotions at once right now so your memory will be a bit compromised, I'm sure.
