I haven’t been getting updates but I went back and looked at everything I have missed! Kangaroo holding your hand! Adorable. It all sounds wonderful! I’m very glad you went by ship! That gives you a nice place to use as home base. Been watching the weather there. I understand it’s rather warm right now!Use that sunblock!!

We're spending a day in Sydney once we get there in a couple days, then up to Cairns for two days and then home to the kitties! (And work, but let's focus on the positive).

You know, I think the fact that we've been on tour has helped with that. Like when we were on Kangaroo Island, there were bushfires near the west coast that our guide pointed out to us on the map, but then assured us we weren't going there. So they probably did modify some tours based on fires, but who knows.

Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your trip, I agree it's definitely advantageous you're on a cruise/tour. Try not to think about work, it will be waiting for you but you'll have wonderful memories to last a lifetime. 🤗

Love the mural. :) And it must have been so cool seeing the Sydney Opera House in person, as that's a picture you see all the time when you look at pics of Australia. Cool bird!!!

How long is the flight to Cairns? When do you depart Australia?

It's just a couple hours I think.

I'm leaving Friday and getting home on...Friday. Looking at our flight from Brisbane to Vancouver we arrive before we leave. Time zones are so trippy sometimes.
