Pixel went to the vet today, because she's been throwing up partially digested food for at least the past 2 days... wasn't sure @ 1st who the culprit was, but then i caught her.
anyway, they took blood for a senior panel [she'll be 12 in september], then came back for a stool sample because her eosinophil count was high. according to them, this could indicate some sort of parasite. but nothing on the stool sample, altho they said her stool was a bit hard. anyway, they sent me home w/flagyl & lactulose, neither of which she's been dosed w/as yet. however, no tossing of cookies since this morning [of course!].
only other count that was high was creatinine. her BUN was fine, so they said the creatinine could be high due to slight dehydration, etc.
