I am sorry that you are having more issues after the surgery which I hoped would resolve everything. To me, this sounds like a new problem, although I could be wrong. You have a lot of vomiting, and the nose licking can be from nausea. However, the pawing at the mouth, the interest in food that she does not eat, point to something going on in her mouth. I am not the vet, but I have never had a cat do those things for hairballs.
I use Laxatone for hairballs. Some people balk at the fact that it contains a petroleum product, but I have never had any trouble with it and it is not like it becomes a dietary mainstay that is eaten daily.
