Photographing Black Cats

It’s always harder to take good pictures of black cats without them turning into a shapeless blob. Do you guy's have any tips for taking good pics of black cats? Luckily my new kitten also has white on him so he isn't as hard to take pics of. Here are some of the better ones I've taken of lil Mothman
