For those of you who are grieving for a lost pet or know that one of your beloved pets are going to euthanize here is a free, supportive, moderated chat room. It's hard to find people who understand and can provide support when grieving for the loss of a beloved pet.

The APLB chatrooms have been specifically designed for supportive guidance through pet loss bereavement, only. Pet Loss Chats: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday nights from 8-10 p.m., and Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m., all Eastern time. Anticipatory Bereavement Chat: 1st and 3rd Thursday nights of the month from 8-10 p.m. Eastern time. West Coast Chat: 7-9 p.m., Pacific Time Internet address: www.aplb.org Email address: [email protected]

I hope this is helpful.

It always helps to let your feelings out to others, to have someone who empathizes with your feelings just be there.......there is no right or wrong way to grieve, and each loss is an intensely personal emotion. No one loved that little one as each and everyone of us did, so though we can offer support and a shoulder to cry on, the loss is yours and yours alone. To know there are others who have been there before us, and have survived, is comforting. To share the burden of grief makes it a little lighter to bear............
