Part russian blue or just blue moggie?

The heavy money bet is he is a blue domestic. Do you know his history? A possible variation IF he has a real RB ancestry is, he is obviously verry pet quality; with these heavy "ghost" tabby markings, and this locklet on the chest. And so, the breeder get rid of this kitten cheaply.

I would describe him as a blue domestic shorthair. The blue color comes from a recessive gene that is very common in the domestic cat population, and doesn't indicate that a cat has specific breed ancestry. Blue kittens can appear in litters with parents of almost any color. Most cats are not any particular breed, and are not "mixed" with any breed, but that doesn't make them any less pretty or special! He looks like a sweet little lap cat :)
