On some computers they take a while to download.. it's a very picture heavy thread.

*A LOT harder than it looks. But I did it.*

I have a method to make it easier. I do it in several passes:

First pass, I vote strictly on whether the picture captures the topic sentence. I'm very choosy on the first pass.

Second pass, I vote on the photography. Does the picture have good framing, focus and exposure? Does the picture flatter the subject?

Third pass, I vote on the cat. I love tabbies and tuxedo cats. Some cats remind me of cats I used to know (or still know.)

Fourth and final pass, I vote on cuteness and humor value. Who can resist a picture of a kitten chasing a toy mouse of tussling with a ball of yarn? No normal human should be able to hold in a chuckle when they see a cat rolling in a pile of catnip!

If I STILL haven't cast the right number of votes, I go back to the top of my list and start judging again until all my votes are in.

I completely agree! If the picture is not a good representation of the topic I tend to avoid voting for it. There is some wiggle room sometimes but not if the pic doesn't apply to the P.O.M topic.

Thanks for the reminder! Will try to remember to vote when baby's napping later and I'm trapped on the couch.

I agree with the voting methods, though I'm sure different people have different ideas about what's unexpected!
