I can wait 10 days. It'll be hard but has to be done. Meanwhile my goal is pain management and anything else that might help him.

Oh, my Dear Girl! I am very sorry that you and Oreo are going through this. I'm sending all sorts of love and prayers and good wishes your way. I believe that you have my contact info from margd margd . I am up until the wee hours, 3-4 am, eastern time. Should you need a friendly voice, CALL ME! If you don't have the information, let me know and I will PM it to you. I am here. Sometimes it's good to know that in the Deep Darks of the night.

Boy our timing is perfect.

He's more limpy than before which is to be expected :( but he's taking his buprenorphine every 12 and hiding from me afterward. Eating well so far.

Oreo is ok, limping less now. Still on the buprenorphine, but not liking it one bit. Eating well. Continuing to do research into holistic therapies. Finding very interesting info about the use of pancreatic enzymes and their effect on cancer cells.

I'm glad the buprenorphine is helping him. I hope your research turns up some ways to keep him stronger. Sweet boy, he's such a dear heart. :redheartpump::redheartpump::redheartpump: :bicolorcat: :redheartpump::redheartpump::redheartpump:

OH, I am so glad that he is doing better! I was out of the house yesterday, and only got on here for a very few minutes to check some of the forums that I keep watch over. This is WONDERFUL news!

Oreo is out of surgery. All went well so far. He is still dazed and shivering off the effects of anesthesia.

Let us know how Oreo is when he gets home. Poor baby. :redheartpump::redheartpump::redheartpump: He will be so glad to spend the night in his own bed tonight. :sleepycat: I hope that he is doing well. :crossfingers::vibes::crossfingers::vibes::crossfingers::vibes::crossfingers::vibes::crossfingers:

Ginny took a moment to text me that he is home. He's still figuring out this new way of walking, but I'm thinking that by the time he is no longer sore, he'll have it down.

Oreo is back home but not quite himself yet due to pain meds. Thank you to those of you who follow and comment. It really helps to know someone cares.
