I normally feed my crew cans of Halo wet, but I noticed my local market had a "grain free chicken recipe" dehydrated food, from The Honest Kitchen. It claims "Human Grade Quality and Safety".
Serving seems to simply be mixing with an appropriate amount of warm water. And looking through the list of ingredients, other than that every ingredient is prefixed with "dehydrated", there are no meat "meals" or anything else that raises alarms for me. And price-wise, it seems much less expensive per serving than my usual canned choice.
Anyone tried these? How did your cats react? Any other thoughts?
