Gracie's been doing this even before we got Poly, the new kitten. Every now and then she will howl a little before finally pooping, and the poop is normal. She paces back and forth between litter boxes before finally pooping, and then does the "zoomies" afterward. Is this normal? She poops every 24 hours, sometimes a little longer, almost always doing the pacing and meowing before finally pooping.

We started giving her fish oil and cosequin for dry skin/arthritis, we were thinking maybe she just is in pain while pooping so she waits til the last minute to do it. Again, the poop is totally normal, not small (usually huge haha).

Ill add she's never pooped outside the box, we clean it after every poop, and replace every month. We also have three litter boxes.
