With the very hot weather, several days over 105f Malika waited until after midnight to get things going.

We've got 4 lovely spotted babies, all good weights 110-120g (I think that's 3.8-4.2oz). Malika is kneading and purring up a storm

3 females and 1 male in black silver, chocolate and tawny. Their names will be:
Zayenah Summer Knight
Zayenah Midsummer Madness
Zayenah Hot Hot Hot
Zayenah Heat of the Night

Awww nice - now can you please break down the color/sex?

And you need to be keeping one or two to get back in the show ring girl!

Very cute kittens! I agree on the naming, I take forever to find names for mine, and after my first litter where I gave a great name to a pet-kitten, I use a lot of discretion now on who gets what..

Thank you all
Malika seems to love being a mum and has quickly settled into her role again.

I always have names ready to go, though this lot I had a last minute theme change and got some help from clever members of another forum

I have a kitten to show, just no shows yet
She had her first show at our last of the season in November and we don't start again until late March.
As always I'll have my neuter girl out, though she'll retire soon.

Sexes are
chocolate girl
black silver girl
tawny girl
tawny boy

Thanks everyone. All are doing well today, Malika is a great mum I really appreciate her efforts to remain cuddled with her bubs in this very hot weather.

They are beautiful kittens. I think they are so cute when they start exploring. I think my favorite color is the black silver but they are all pretty.

They are soooooo adorable at that age. Can you tell yet if any of them are going to be good show cats?
