If you are rich enough to own a bathtub like that, maybe you have servants who bring containers of heated water. Isn't that the way baths were done before we had plumbing?

I used to have DH do that to make the water hotter for me. He grumbled constantly because he was afraid he would scald me. "I'm not doing this anymore!"

That bathtub is welcome at my house anytime. We are not rich, but it would seamlessly blend in with my decor.
