Today is one of the saddest days of the year, for me. I'm not sure how many Queen fans this website has, but I would like to acknowledge Freddie Mercury. (Who was a great cat lover, by the way)

On this day, Freddie Mercury passed on due to complications from AIDS.

1946 - forever

I'm wearing yellow today, for support, and I'll be spending a lot of time downstairs on the piano. Not to mention blasting Queen music on my CD player.

An incredible, gravity-defying man was lost on this day.

One of the greatest musicians of our time. Somewhere, in one of my teenage photo albums, I have the newspaper clipping announcing his death. I agree, it is one of the saddest days.

This is my friend's band. They are the closest thing you will get to seeing a Queen show now...so if you're ever in one of the cities that they are playing in, I highly recommend them. ALMOST QUEEN

Gone, but certainly not forgotten! It's no wonder that the "Bohemian Rhapsody" film is doing so well at the box office.
Yes, I've seen it three times already . They pulled it of really well.
