Notifications question

Hi I have three notifications that won't stop showing as new despite clicking on them and following the link. One was a deleted post, and two were posts that were moved into a different thread. It's not a big thing, but I was curious is there a way to get them to not show as unread? TIA

This is how I get these to "go away"

You'll want to go into your preferences, scroll down to Alerts page and Summary, uncheck all three boxes (or whatever is checked in your case), save the changes, click on the alerts and they should disappear, then go back to those boxes and re-check whichever was originally checked, and save.

This explanation is a slightly different method;

Click on your username in the top menu bar and select "Preferences". Scroll down to the Alerts page and Summary settings and make sure the box that says "Alerts pop-up skips mark read Viewing the alerts pop-up will not mark alerts as read " is not clicked. Click save at the bottom.

I clicked the notification icon, then clicked "show all" then clicked "mark all as read"

By far the easiest way.
It gives you the three options in the banner at the top, once you've clicked 'show all'.
