Hi all! Not sure if you guys remember me or not. I used to spend a lot of time here, but then life got crazy. I got a puppy and he ended up having some major health issues that took up a lot of my time. Maybe if you don't remember me, you'll remember my cats, Reese and Sir? If not, that's ok, because I'll gladly introduce them again!

This is Reese, who we found in a parking lot when she was very tiny. She's all grown up now, and she will be three years old around the end of April! I cannot believe how fast time flies. This was her when we found her, skin and broken bones and dripping goo from all ends.

And this is her now! She's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but she is the sweetest girl. She loves belly rubs and toys!

And this is Sir! When I started chatting here, he weighed 17 lbs and could hardly walk.

This is what he looked like before:

So much better now right??

And of course...the reason why I stopped visiting. We got a puppy, our little walking IBS factory that we love more than life itself. But man! We're just now figuring out what he can and cannot eat. Apparently chicken actually puts him in the hospital in intensive care. But things are settling down now and just...how cute is he?! Meet Tyke.

Hello! I think you joined a bit before me so we must have missed each other.
So hello to you, Sir, Reese, and Tyke! They are all so adorable.
Wow, Reese and Sir have improved so much!!! Thank you so much for saving them!
Sorry to hear about Tykes health problems, but I’m glad to hear that you’re sorting through them. Happy to meet you, and :welcomeback1:!!!

WELCOME BACKKKK!!!!
SO happy to hear from you again. Looking forward to more posts again from you.

Just like you, I also recently returned after months of inactivity. It was the anxiety and bouts of depression that made me "hide" from the world. But I am better.

I remember when I got my cat, a thin, tangled mess.

I thought, I am just a man, with all the limited emotions of a man and all the failings of a man, but I can do this, I can bring this cat back into good health again.

I am still just a man, however, with all the limited emotions of a man and all the failings of a man, but at least now I have a loyal animal by my side.

I remember you.
The wonderful transformation of Reese is a testament to your care. She's so cute and that second photo of her is so sharp. Was that taken with your phone?
They're all so cute but I have a soft spot for Reese. :hearthrob::redheartpump::hearthrob:

I remember you and welcome back! How could I forget that name - TobiDaDog - on a cat forum? Dogs must have been on your mind for some time. Tyke is beautiful, and he is worth the care you give him. We once had a Sheltie who looked a lot like Tyke. Ours certainly kept us stirred up.
