Our 9mth old female has been crazy nipping at my daughter. She high pitches "baby" and lit one comes running, jumps on my 19 yr old daughter and nips at her arm, checks, chin and sometimes hand. She also lightly meows at her. Anyone have any ideas why???

It sounds like she views your daughter as a playmate and is doing what kittens normally do to one another. Just not appropriate for humans. Next time, and every time when she try’s to nip the baby or anyone, give her a loud long hiss. That should give her the message the nipping is not okay.

Hi! I don't really know why for certain,
however it would be good to work on stopping this, try a soft toy rather than allowing nipping on skin. Also as mentioned try the hiss, it's effective :)
