Hi

New cat hanging out. Belongs to next door

He is not fixed

He pooped on her kitchen counter and she put him out with his brother cat

Brother cat recently died of possibility aids per my friend cat lady

He looks welll fed, he likes my shelter

I could feed him I’m not sure how to begin

I have everything, shelter and heated warm bowls, warm cat pad

I’ve never had an outside cat

Last year my shelter wasn’t private enough

Water would be important, and you could feed either canned or dry, whichever works best for you but try to schedule certain times so that the food isn't as much of an attractant for other animals :)

Thank you for your good intentions for this neighbor's cat. You have a beautiful heart.

Can you ask your neighbor if you can have have him fixed? Without being neutered he would roam and search for a mate. By doing so he could be hit by a car, fight with other cats, taken by humans who could abuse him, etc.

Yes, as what Furballsmom Furballsmom advised, you can feed him wet or dry, at least one in the morning and another at night.

Yes agreed on the neutering, otherwise you may have kittens in your neighborhood!
do you have coyotes in your neighborhood?
