I would say a pointed domestic long hair; he really doesn't remind me of a ragdoll. I am rubbish with coloring that young for pointed cats, seal maybe? I am sure abyeb
will be along shortly to correct me.
Take a look at the last two photos in this thread, Does A Ragdoll And Ragamuffin Result In Ragdoll?, that is Lexus who is a very highly ranked Ragdoll cat in TICA shows. Granted the coloring is different but you can see some differences in shape, coat, etc.
If anything I am getting more of a Himalayan vibe, but that could just be me. I could be wrong as some features change slightly as they age and some features can be misleading in photos. However, unless you have papers your lovely little one would be a domestic long hair as it's breed.
Your kitten appears to be a cute little blue point domestic longhair. Adorable! It looks quite young, is there a reason it had to leave its mother and littermates?
Almost all cats, both longhair and shorthair, are domestics without specific breed ancestry. The genes that create blue coloring, pointed pattern, and long coat are widespread in the domestic population. As your kitten gets older it may resemble some breed enough to be considered a lookalike, but at this point I would just say you have a cute little baby kitten
He’s such a cutie! I would describe him as a blue point Domestic Longhair. I’m not really seeing any breed influences in him that are screaming at me, but he is still so young, maybe we’ll be able to see something once he’s a bit older.
Thanks, we still havent decided on a name yet. He seems to be a little mischievous so throwing around Loki, but also like Finn (Finley) Any other suggestions welcomed!
He is adorable!I also think he is a blue point long hair domestic kitty! As he grows his coat will become more defined. He is so very cute just enjoy having him!
