Is this an American thing because I've never seen or been approached by little girls asking if I'd like to buy cookies.
They used to go door-to-door, but they stopped that long ago.

Now they set up tables in front of markets and hawk them there.

Oh yeah, 16 boxes might last me 7 or 8 days. The reason I don’t buy cookies for myself. No such thing as a nibble.
Yeah, one of the reasons I don't bake anymore. Have to do that quality control, and eat about half of them, just to be sure . . . .

DD went to NC to visit her BF and made chocolate chip cookies to bring. She came into my room and said that she thinks she overbaked them a bit and they didn't taste the same as when I made them but they were good. Then she said she wasn't feeling too well. I asked her how many cookies she ate. The answer? 8 and some dough, too. She had to test each batch and the dough too, of course. Strict quality control. :rolleyes2:

She just turned 25 yesterday.
