New Girl Scout cookie

Is this an American thing because I've never seen or been approached by little girls asking if I'd like to buy cookies.

They used to go door-to-door, but they stopped that long ago.

Now they set up tables in front of markets and hawk them there.

Oh yeah, 16 boxes might last me 7 or 8 days. The reason I don’t buy cookies for myself. No such thing as a nibble.

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't bake anymore. Have to do that quality control, and eat about half of them, just to be sure . . . .

DD went to NC to visit her BF and made chocolate chip cookies to bring. She came into my room and said that she thinks she overbaked them a bit and they didn't taste the same as when I made them but they were good. Then she said she wasn't feeling too well. I asked her how many cookies she ate. The answer? 8 and some dough, too. She had to test each batch and the dough too, of course. Strict quality control.

She just turned 25 yesterday.

Cookies/snacks consumed outside of the snackers' main dwelling have no more calories than air does.
