New Freeze Dried Raw From Whole Life

My cats are crazy about Whole Life treats, so when I noticed that there is a new line of freeze dried complete cat food "Lifebites", I bought a bag to try.

My cats like it, but sweet potato and peas are prominent ingredients, and the food is 20% carbohydrates un-rehydrated. In comparison, Primal and Nature Variety freeze dried are about 10%. It's nice to have another option, but I'm a bit disappointed in the carb content. It must be technically difficult to make a cohesive freeze dried product without carbohydrates.

WL came out with that freeze dried food about two years ago. We had it here in our indy store in NYC, way to carby though, people usually move to raw to get away from all those carbs, especially peas.

My cats also like the WL treats, but I wont use their raw, we don't carry WL's fD here any more, I won't recommend it.

Feline Natural doesn't use any carbs in their FD raw food and it hydrates easily, mashing up the little bites.
