New Cat

I got another cat and on the way to the vet to be fixed he either peed or sprayed on himself. Now that he's home the smell is all over the house but it's worse in the room that he's in. He didn't spray in the room. He sprayed inside the cat carrier that we threw away, the smell is just on him. Is there anyway to the clean him or does the smell go away on it's own after a few days?

It should go away on its own, or you could try using some wipes to wipe him off if he is cool being handled.
