Hello!! I made another post on here last friday about how the new cat i just got wasn’t getting along with my resident cat. Anyways, now, they are still separated at night and when they can’t be supervised, but they interact when my bf and I can watch them. They have spent hours at a time in the same room, even napping at different sides of the room at the same time; however, my new cat (Goblin) will occasionally give chase to my resident cat (Amaretto) and I can’t tell really if she is just trying to play or if she is being rude. (They also will still hiss at each other if they “get too close” to each other, but each cat respects the “boundary” that that makes and will normally hiss a little and back down.)

Hi. Hard to say. Doesn’t really matter though, because other than keeping them separated, you shouldn’t get involved as long as nobody is getting hurt.

What is going on before the chase?
