Nemex medication

Our cats are taking Nemex and on the first dose they ended up having diarrhea. Now we have to give them there second doses two weeks later. Should we expect diarrhea again?

Diarrhea is listed as a side effect for Nemex (pyrantel pamoate), but, I think that just because your cats experienced diarrhea with the first dose, doesn’t necessarily mean that they will get it again. But I would recommend asking your vet, to see if it is anything of concern, or if there is anything that you can do to alleviate some of the symptoms.
