Need Help With 10 Week Kitten

The kitten that I'm having problems with is my older cat's baby. His name is Teddy and he has two sisters. I taught his sisters how to use the litter box, as well as Teddy but he just won't use it. I have two litter boxes. One in my room and in the laundry room. He refuses to use any of them and instead does his business under beds and under enclosed, covered areas.

Why won't he use the regular litter box? Hes the only boy out of four female cats. Should I buy more litter boxes? Or buy a cover for the current litter boxes?

My thought would be to confine him to the bathroom for a day or two, with a litterbox, food and water in the opposite corner, and a basket with blanket in another corner. The idea is that without other tempting locations he will use the litterbox and build the habit.

If he prefers enclosed spaces, getting a litter box with a cover could be a great idea, too....
