Need help identifying if a bald patch on kitten is ringworm or not

Did i screw up becuase i touched my resident cat after this kitten i am taking care of without washing my hands.

Ringworm (I think) looks more like a rash than this. I have never had a cat with ringworm so hopefully somebody more knowledgeable will chime in who has experienced it.

Thanks. I hope i don't bring anything contagious inside. If i hurt rivel because of this i will never forgive myself

It could be, yes. How quickly did it develop?

It’s impossible to diagnose skin issues by sight alone, so best to take the kitten to the vet. Quarantine her from your resident kitty for now, and wash hands after visiting with her.

Ringworm is not a big deal whatsoever, so if it is that, don’t fret. It typically doesn’t even bother most cats. Some have a little itching, and in rare cases they can develop severe lesions, but most cats just develop alopecia.

Ringworm is also what we refer to as “jock itch” and “athlete’s foot” - more of an annoyance than anything serious!
