My cat Cleo is a little over a year old. I get asked frequently what breed she is and have been asked a few times how much I paid for her which has made me wonder if she resembles a special breed or something. Her mom came to our farm already pregnant. Never saw the dad, but the mom looks like a calico. People often comment on her height (she has long legs/is taller than my parents maine coon. not bigger, but definitely taller) and her tail (poofy and longer than average) I didn’t grow up around cats and I don’t know much about the breeds, so I’d appreciate any insight anyone may have on what she resembles. Thank you!

She's beautiful! I think she'd be a lynx point domestic longhair? I think people tend to assume pointed cats are a breed, but they aren't necessarily since most cats aren't.

I don't know cat breeds well enough to say which one she'd be a lookalike for. Just wanted to comment on how pretty she is!

She's lovely!

Her color is torbie point (also known as tortie lynx point), which you can see by looking at the patches on her feet. I think she is also dilute (blue). All together, this would make her a dilute torbie point domestic longhair. My guess is that when people ask about her breed, they are probably responding to her flashy coloring combined with her lovely fluffy hair.

I'm not seeing a a close resemblance to any specific breed in these pictures, so I don't think she's a lookalike to any breed... she has her own wonderful combination of color and style! :)
