Every time I volunteer at the shelter I tell the kitties I can't possibly take them all home so I'm not taking any. Of course that was bound to change one day. I just couldn't resist this little guy. His shelter name is Bubba. He doesn't look like a Bubba to me but I haven't come up with a name that fits him. Any suggestions?

He's the solid white kitten with a black tail at the front of the group.

I didn't get very many pictures because he spent most of the time sitting on my lap purring and I couldn't hold the camera far enough away.
I won't be bringing him home for another week at least because he has a URI that needs to be cleared up first. I would normally take care of that myself at home, but I have a cat show coming up next Saturday and don't want to take a chance on any of my cats getting sick before the show.

Dips or Dippy cake to mind first.. It's like someone dipped his tail in paint!

I like Dips, or Dipsy.   Or Mkia (pronounced  m kee ya)  which means 'tail' in Swahili.

I think a name starting with 'T' would suit him... Tapov, Trevor, Tuntoo, Tippy, Totcher... Well thats what I think anyway, its your kitten :p good luck

A magic theme comes to mind for this little one - Siegfried, Gambit, Houdini, Trix, Remus, Albus

Or perhaps classic Hollywood - Gable, Claude, Frankie,

What about Monet (or another artist) since his tail looks like he dipped it in paint?

We had a cat with a black tail and a white tip...we named him Tipper.

You all are not making this choice any easier. I like the magic theme, already have a cat named Merlin. But the idea of an artist is great, too.
I think he's going to end up being called Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe.

An artist name is awesome!

I have two cats- one is Monet and the other is Picasso (Cassie for short)
If I ever get a third cat, it would be called DaVinci!

I'm leaning toward Gandalf for a magic type name.
Or Van Gogh would work for an artist's name since he's got half of the van pattern.

I like your thinking @Datagrrl  .   Hee hee, in UK people sometimes say His Nibs like His Lordship,  and Nibs is a pretty cute name.  Max Escher is good to.
I think Gandalf suits him too.

As I said, you're not helping me make up my mind. One of my friends on FB suggested Sherwin Williams because of dipping his tail in paint. :lol3:

He is adorable...I like 'Possum' for him, because of the colors. Possum is used as a term of endearment in Australia too!

I may have to wait until I get him home and see whether his personality is more magical or artistic. I'd name him some combination like Gandalf van Gogh, but I'd end up having to explain his name every time I introduced him.

Okay, I think I've come up with a name. I really like the idea of an artist's name but none of them seemed to fit exactly. So I went with the magical. How does Gandalf the Mostly White sound?

Gandalf is cute, and he can wave his tail to cast his spell to make everyone fall in love with him.
