    Yeah, it sounds like a real shady situation. But even if everything had been in order, flying over a hill at 60 mph into a dangerous intersection is usually going to end badly. But then if they didn't do everything else right, they probably didn't do their driver selection and training right either.

    Very sad for their families and friends :(.

    just tragic. :agree: i've been watching the developments about this on the news. to me, it sounded even worse when the limo company had it's lawyer speak for them in a news interview.

    i would hope this will bring about some regulations/regulating of limosines. as of now, there really aren't much if any regulations for limo's and 'stretch' limo's. when vehicles are altered to create the 'stretch' limo's, this significantly changes the vehicle's structure and there isn't any safety testing done with the altered vehicles. i would be surprised if New York State doesn't institute some regulations/standards/laws regarding limo's. New York is pretty thorough with it's regulations and laws.
