Nasal mucus normal?

Hello!! My cat squishy has a URI. The vet has him on ear drops and amoxicillin 2x a day. He’s been on the antibiotics only for about 4 days now but he has been sneezing and nasal mucus has been coming out. A lot. Like if we had a cold. I am not sure if this is concerning or not. And of course I try to get ahold of my vet yesterday No one returned my call and they are closed today. Please advise with any thoughts

You could additionally try putting him in a bathroom with a steamy shower running, for about 10-12 minutes a couple times a day, and run a humidifier depending on what your area is like - we're dry in Denver

He may be uninterested in food since he probably can't smell it - be sure and watch for that, and finger feed him or syringe/popsicle stick feed him.
