1) HAVE to remember to take out the garbage. It includes litter box waste and other items. It can't sit around, or everything stinks up. Bleck.

2) Have to rearrange the bird cages and change bird papers. This I love. And they need some stimulation to have things changed around a bit.

3) Gotta sweep and all that fun stuff. Dog makes a bigger mess than the three birds combined! LOL!

Rick put the cover on the pool; at some point, he'll blow out the pipes and then tighten the cover down. We didn't do any winter chemicals because we'll be putting a new pool liner in next spring when we open it the pool. He's taking walnuts and some brush over to the mountain to get rid of it.
  • Got up with the girls this morning: breakfast, emptied the dishwasher, and made coffee
  • Cleaned out the litter boxes
  • Cleaned the bathroom
  • Two loads of laundry, one load of clothes for us and one load of kitty linens and such
  • Whatever else I decide to work on
  • It's an exercise night tonight because I bailed last night. I was just too tired.

To the bank with the sis this morning to try and inventory the aunt’s safe deposit box. When I come back I need to dig a hole and bury the squirrel that died along side my house. Stinks to high heaven so I don’t want it in the trash.

Most of the morning and early afternoon spent finalizing and submitting our first conservator report. I did get a couple loads of laundry in while working on it and pulled out some warmer bedding. Our night are now in the low 50’s and it’s either warmer blankets or turn on the heat.

Got masses of knitting done yesterday, and today I should be able to get the cable section of the pattern started,, but first I have to try to get a printout of the chart, and my printer has decided it won't recognise the colour cartridge, so won't work at all, even in black. 🙄 (When I looked up troubleshooting pages for HP printers, the most memorable advice I saw was "chuck it and get a Canon or Brother".) Other than that, I've got my laundry done and in the dryer, now it's just a matter of seeing if there are enough machines free to do my sheets later. No line drying today, and no going to KMart to buy a cartridge, it's pouring! I'll have to ask the village manager how to connect to the printer in the community room, once he's finished his morning cleaning routine ...

Up early..
*Played with Tux for a good 20 minutes with the wand toy
*Breakfast for both of us... He refused his.. For an outside cat, he is beginning to get fussy-- Not on my watch!
*Tux had his zoomies for a good 2 hours!! mWatched in horror!
*Swept up and vacuumed all the litter from everywhere! Had to even use the dust pan in the bath tub! and Vacuum the tub!
* Tux was a wild cat. I have a stuffed Simon's cat which he thinks is a real cat or real prey. You should see him go wild over it.. just like a Feral! God forbid I should intervene! I get bitten and scratched.
*Showered..
*Cornhole
*coffee with a few.
* huge lunch sandwich.

A friend came up to see Tux for the first time. I had to warn her about his feral strip. Darn it.. Tux was as sweet as pie.. He was napping on my bed. I called him a few times. He came out to see her and was loving her.. Weird cat..
Still refusing his food. He wants nothing but Fancy Feast, and I am not going to deal with a spoiled at.
My friend feels he is just about a year old; no older...

Tux is now sleeping, on his 'spot'.. Oh, he discovered his cat tree last night and this morning. The toys I left out for him a ball and a tin foil ball, are missing!! Jeesh! In just a couple of hours.

Tux is not afraid of anything at all.. I cannot find anything that he is afraid of.. I think he is an alpha cat in the making.. great an alpha adolescent semi feral cat! Oh no!! Pray for me!!

Beautiful perfect weather day. I ran some errands this morning ending with a trip to the hardware store. Came back and cleaned out four window wells and replaced their covers. it’s one of those tasks I intend to do every fall and never quite get to it. Nice to have it done.

Put a batch of yogurt in the instant Pot
Put a load of towels in
Will try to go through a lot of my MIL photos this afternoon with my husband if I can. I would like to organize them to an album(s) She has unfortunately passed away.

My broken finger is doing ok. My ear infection is not responding to the heavy duty antibiotic I am on ( hence the yogurt ,it is the only thing saving my stomach.) After having repeated bouts of vertigo and ear issues I am seeing an ENT next week, which means I have to go down there two days in a row. Once to have my finger rechecked and the next day the ENT.
Mostly I am just resting as my balance is off and the pain in my ear is preventing me from sleeping.

Thank you Kwik for everything.
My husband's mom was a very caring person. She kept in contact with everyone.
I don't know what is worse with my ear at this point the pain, the vertigo or it causing balance issues. Thankfully the doctor I have an appointment with my husband went to a few year back and was very happy with his treatment.

He is doing ok. He was very close to her. He made sure she got what she wish for in a catholic mass etc. Her care had become very difficult in the end ,but it got done. She pass with dignity. Just pretty difficult with all the traveling back and forth, plus my medical stuff at the moment, but that is to be expected as you know.
