Uh,Dr this morning but first went to gas station, grocery store becausd other grocery store I went to yesterday was out of a couple of items - went to Metro pcs and then it started pouring rain so msybe I'll get to Xfinity tomorrow- hopefully

Fooled around with the stupid SMART TV (Samsung) in the living room to see what I could get on TV plus ---- took me forever but I did manage go install 2 channels I watch( one was Bravo),the other movies- so if I could get the right amount of data I can turn in this last box and disconnect cable.... I'll not need to record because I can stream the new episodes one day after they show live- perfect!..

That's was it plus my usual morning chores- devoted to kitties-food,litter,walks etc .take garbage to dumpster, get mail with Sami

Oh ,then I started cooking a whole box of Garcia sausages

My TV is so old. It is one of the early models of a Samsung Smart TV. The problem is: it is no longer 'smart'.. The modem, which makes it 'smart' is outdated. I also forget the password and email address to log into the 'smartness'!!
I think it was made in 2010.... It is so heavy!! Picking it up, is a 2 man job.

Oh my- nowadays the TVs are light as a feather and they have really good sales all the time, maybe it'd be a good idea( if it's in the budget) for a new one with all the bells n whistles.....I really like that they are so easy to move around, even at 65 or 70 inch I could easily pick it up to clean under, behind around it by myself....

My TV is wall mounted. When I moved in here, I had one of the guys wall mount it for me. I had to call him up on a Sunday night, because it was falling off the wall!!! OMG>>> it took 2 of us to put it back on its stand!

He had to buy special supports in order to keep it up on the wall. I hate to see the damage it has done to the wall!!

Having it on the wall is so convenient for me. I can move my furniture around, easier; to clean and get to the cable modems and wires. The wall mount allows me to angle the TV to where ever I want to sit..

Oh I love those wall mounts that swivel around- I really wanted it for my bedroom but seems it's a bit tricky finding the right one to work well in a corner..... When my cousin is done rehabilitating from his ankle reconstruction and joint replacement I should be able to have what I'm envisioning, don't trust anyone besides him or like you it might end up falling off the wall ..I suppose the weight of it added to the stress on the mounts

My TV was bought in.. 2012? 2013? My sister cleaned it for me some weeks ago and said it smelled of smokers. I wonder if it's on its last leg...

Alas, I have a cat tree being delivered today by Amazon. Then possibly groceries this eve, if I can order them in time.

And on an exciting note - I caught Puddles Purring today! First time in over 5-6 weeks I've managed to hear her!

We bought our current tv at the start of Covid, when we dumped Comcast cable in favor of YouTube streaming. I was calling them every month on their price playing games. If I could get another Internet provider I would in a heartbeat. It is wall mounted as I could see a cat knocking table mounted ones to the floor.

We had no issue with data. We had very basic services on Internet and cable and were paying over $200 a month. It maybe better for you if you can switch your services entirely or even just get rid of cable we pay less then half for YouTube for tv then Comcast. There are a lot of streaming service you just need to see what best suits what you like to watch.
Sorry I missed that you were having an issue with your knee somewhere, my brain was not with me. I hope its doing better.❤❤❤

I did get to the Xfinity store today and got do aggravated that I went home.... I do know someone who works in their Corp office in Pennsylvania but takes care of big business accounts for customer relations.... it was time for the " who you know" card!

He took my formal complaint about the mgr,he is getting written up plus called me back during his lunch and in 15 minutes I have unlimited data ,super fast internet and good bye to Comcast cable($85 total)..... now I'll see what subscription I would like, probably Netflix cause I like newer movies

Kwik Kwik That is good to hear! We were more then happy and have had no regrets leaving them for at least cable, if another provider came out here we would dump them for Internet as well.

The nice thing about the streaming subscriptions like Hulu or Netflix is that you don’t have a contract and pay month to month. What I do is take Netflix for a couple months, watch everything that interests me, then drop it for Hulu, binge watch and then drop it for Max. If you rotate them like that you get to watch the best on each with only one monthly subscription at a time.

Today was weekly aunts house visit, did some sorting and cleaning and picked up mail. I do have a USPS forward on file but they are still delivering a few pieces to her house. Several bank statements I really needed were sitting there. Tomorrow I have to spend at least a few hours on her bills and paperwork.

Agreed! Thank you- the only other options here really are AT&T which offers no LAN,only air which is not stable imo, same as the 5G connections...... So that dang conglomerate has it monopolomized here🙄Thanks to you and our TCS fam I was really encouraged to take the step ,it was big for me- don't like change

So today I'm excited to drop off the final cable equipt as one of my 3 things( morning chores & kitties don't count- that's the same as breathing each day to me)

Yesterday I had my nails done( I really felt like Comcast paid for it- rofl)

Today a friend is taking me to brunch and then I need to pick up scripts at hospital pharmacy so it's nice to have a ride not to have to find parking😀

So glad if we helped Kwik Kwik , I think that is what this all about. I agree about cats being like breathing everyday, I would literally crawl to the kitchen if I had to to take care of mine. I don't like change either but sometimes it makes things better.I hope you are having a amazing time and a wonderful brunch with your friend ❤❤❤

Went out to the vegetable garden and watered a little at a time because of this darn vertigo
Watered up by the house
Went back to the garden and picked a lot of San Marzano tomatoes. Will roast them so they don't go to waste. Might freeze them for sauce, I don't think I would be able to can them to easily right now
Orthopedic dr called me and said he would like an x ray of my hand, as he is concerned with the way my fingers are in my maintaining function. So after this vertigo stopped for awhile I went I got that done. Fortunately I could go a lot closer then his location. So I might be out of this sooner, but will have to be really careful as it will not be 100% healed
Called my better half as he had to go right back up the road to his mom's almost immediately after he got back here. Not good at all.
Now I'm just sitting here relaxing.

I freeze almost all of my tomato crop every year, leaving the skins on.I mostly use mine for making sauce, and the skins just slip right off with no problem. We like a chunky sauce so I don't puree but as far as flavor and all, they do great!I haven't canned a tomato in I don't know how many years.

I've canned tomatoes NEVER!lol 🤣Don't know the first thing about canning except to put them in my cart and pay the cashier- my ancestors would not be pleased but the thing is they never could tell the difference between my pot of sauce and theirs ...I never had the heart to tell them I gave all the fresh tomatoes away they supplied me with, unbeknownst to my grandmother her wonderful tomatoes and vegetables were not my thing
