Hello there,
My wife and I rescued a kitten from the streets a few months ago. He was being eaten alive by fleas, and weighed only 1 pound. We immediately took him to a vet, who estimated his age to be 8-10 weeks old. He immediately won us over, and after the vet patched him up, we decided to add another cat to the house. We also have a 6 year old female, DSH.
This little mystery man would purr anytime we picked him up, was not shy and even enjoyed his flea bath. He was immediately comfortable in our home, and took to socializing with our other cat quite well. After a few months they are already best buddies.
After some extensive reading, I've estimated his breed to be Norwegian or Siberian Forest. He has all of their personality traits, and physical traits. I'm leaning more towards Siberian because of the dip in his nose. At about 6 months of age, he is already longer than our adult cat. His tail is supremely bushy, and is as long as the rest of his body. He also eats more than our adult cat.
Anyhow, here are some photos of the magical forest cat known as Parsley.
