First all, I just want to say I was in the middle of setting up the process to get him neutered before this happened. He got out, but he's been laying in the same ditch under my house.

Idk if this helps but he's a purely indoor kitty that isn't specialized with other cats other than a kitten through the door crack in one part of my house.

Problem is anytime I even get close he yowls a warning, which is basically his was of saying "back up or I'm scratching the shit out of you". There's also a lot of strays that frequently go through the trailer underside, so he's constantly stressed.

And specifically one stray I've been feeding always hang around my porch. I'm afraid because of how wary he is of other cats plus the hormones he won't even try to approach the porch because of the stray.

What can I do to get my little bastard back inside? And food hasn't helped, not even treats.

People don't say this, but even in the best of circumstances when you have to scruff a cat, I did yesterday indoor cat, you much not let go once you've grabbed him in a tight grip on the back of the neck. You'll think he's twisting around to bite you, don't let go. Don't pick his weight up, drag him out from under the house, that's easier on him than lifting. Yes, you'll be crawling backwards with your weight on knees, one hand and the elbow of the scruffing hand. It's not easy, it's possible.

When you get out from under the house, stuff him in the box there. don't try to stand up and carry him inside. Box right then. You could try to struff him in the box while under the house, but that is a bit more risky, you just can't move well under those conditions.

Most important, once you grab the skin on the back of his neck, not his neck. Do not let go until you can box him. He will growl and make very scary sounds. Remember you are doing this to protect him.

If it's been 3 days and he hasn't eaten, you're getting to a dangerous point, as cats cannot go long without eating. In fact, hepatic lipidosis, aka fatty liver, can set in in as little as 24-24 hours, per the below TCS article.
Why Has My Cat Stopped Eating And Is It Dangerous? | TheCatSite

So please do everything you can get him to come out, or at the very least eat something.

Also are you certain he's not injured. Sometimes cats hide under things when they're hurt. Poor baby. He must be so scared.

Update, he is home. I put the kitty litter by the door and left it crack and THAT worked of all things. Shithead. Ty all
