As a Christmas treat, I gave Ike and Pearl rawhise chewy bones. They both repaired to neutral corners of the patio, to chew away.
Some time later, I went outside, for a smoke and found Ike without his bone. A search of the yard did not turn it up.
A bit later, I spotted Pearl with hers. She proceeded to enlarge a previously-dug hole, dropped the bone in and used her nose to cover it up. Pearl then stood atop the mound of dirt and GRINNED at me.
Later still, Pearl had a chewy-bone and Ike still had none. Lord only knows, where the other bone is.
