I went around Thanksgiving of 2005, and it was an absolutely beautiful city! So many flowers and palm trees.
Here are some pictures of where we went...

Coranado (sp?) Beach:

SeaWorld!

At the Seal-Sea Lion-Otter show

It's a dark picture, but the sunset was pretty

At the zoo, we got really close to a rhino!

Can you see the little lemur?

Me in the Lorikeet cage, at the Wild Animal Park

Hope you liked them!

Great place to take some pictures for sure.I Love San Diego also, We used to live there right by Mission Bay and Sea World, The Sunsets at Sunset Beach are the most Beautiful, we used to go there a few times a week and watch the sunset.
Did you get a chance to go to Seaport Village? I loved that place to.

No, we didn't. Unfortunately time was pretty cramped, and there was a lot more we wanted to do.

I love San Diego! My husband and I had our first honeymoon there after our civil ceremony (long story - we had two weddings). Even now, I'll do the two hour trek to go eat in Old Town San Diego - mmm, the candy shop there makes hand pulled taffy, freash, daily. It's the best!

Great pics and it looks like you had tons of fun! Are you going again anytime soon?

EDIT: OMG! I just noticed you have the cutest family of redheads!

I'd love to go again, it was so much fun! But probably not for another few years. And my family says 'thanks'.

I'm glad you had fun! I just moved away from San Diego after living there for almost 4 years. There's a lot to see and do, so I'm not surprised you didn't get to see all that you wanted to.
Coronado is a beautiful area.

These are terrific, Rachael! Wow, I didn't realize how beautiful San Diego is! The beach is beyond gorgeous, and what a terrific sunset! The little lemer is adorable, and you and your birdie friend really hit off, didn't you! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful trip with us!

I was stationed there for six years but was unable to stay there after Navy retirement due to housing costs.
