I unfortunately know your pain, it will never go away completely but it will subside, and loving another pet also helps. To me making a donation in her name to a shelter helped, I still keep it going. Find a way to do something memorable in her name, and know that you gave her the best life he could've had, and he was here for a reason, to enjoy the brief time with you and for you to learn and love him as much as you did. I send him all the blessings and good thoughts, and to you I hope the best, and this little beautiful creatures teach us a lot, and when they pass so soon they remind us that life is short and we should make the most out of it.
