Hedi,

Tell Mike that even if not posting, I check in every day to see the latest report, and hope to see the stone has passed and he's on his way to feeling better.

Thanks Pat
, you are so sweet .

I was bussy early , any who , Mike does have pain on and off and he really is a grump right now . I guess due to the pain he is having . Right now he is just taking mortin for the pain and helps some what . He also is staying home from work today for sure . We are hoping he passing that "monster" soon , even if it means pain . I just got him some more Cranberry juice and water from the commissary today , so he will have plenty of fluits to drink .

Oh Hedi,
I know I must sound terribly blunt, but I don't like to mince words when it's really important. Can you please tell this man you love that his stubborness could put him at risk of kidney damage? He's at risk for infection, kidney damage and the pain he's going through may be lasting longer and be worse than any treatment.

I can only imagine this is very difficult for you, I hope he will change his mind soon,

Yes, he is putting himself at major risk by not going. Forget the kidney damage, he could die if the stone doesn't pass and only causes an infection. Some larger stones scrape the insides of the kidneys or the tubing as they pass which can cause major infection. Tell him to get his butt to a doctor.

You may have to turn on the tears if asking, begging, shouting, pleading etc. hasn't worked. You might want to tell him that if he does damage or gets an infection, it could be EVEN MORE painful that what he's experiencing right now. It's been a few days and if the stone hasn't passed by now, it may not pass at all. I hate to say this and don't want to sound mean, but hopefully the pain will drive him back to the doctor and he can get some treatment.

I give him a heating patch to lay on the pain , but have no clue if it will help him . Any one in here has a idea what to do to to help his pain ? Thanks
Hi,
My husband had a similar problem. The doc is the only solution. It´s usually some stone or smaller particles that are on their way out that cause these problems.Make him see a specialist for uro genital problems. He´ll be so relieved when the pains are gone. It´s supposed to be worse than giving birth
So, my best to all of you
Elisabeth
